DHenrys Guide

These little Terriers are small dogs with big attitudes. They are so full of energy and high spirits! Yorkies are very smart and easy to train. They are usually very social but are definitely attached to their owners and will bark at everything that comes close to their home. My love of Yorkies started the day my sister brought home her "Olivia". She was the cutest dog I have ever seen and the thought of having one like her, to carry with me in my pocketbook, just overwhelmed me with the desire to have my own. So, I started my search and adopted my first "Priscilla". She was exactly what I wanted, sweet and anxious to please me. She would settle herself right down in my pocketbook as soon as she seen me getting ready to go anywheres. Well, within six months or so I decided that Priscilla needed a companion, so we then adopted a male and named him "Presley". He is such a good boy and always gives in to Priscilla. If he has a toy that she wants--she gets it. These two dogs have given me such joy! Over the next few years we acquired two more! "Preston" an offspring of Presley, (who I bread with Priscilla's mother) and my youngest "Liberty" who was born on the fourth of July of 2007. She is an offspring of Priscilla & Presley and is quite a beautiful and loving Yorkie! As you can see - I love the breed - Yorkshire Terrier.
