Music is in my soul and has giving me so much joy over the years! You see, I grew up in a large family
that was very talented in music. My Dad played a trumpet and was always listening to, and playing his "Big Band Tunes"
while Mom loved all the fifty's music and with her love of dance she taught the neighborhood teenagers
how to dance. I have two brothers who played instruments and often had family "Jam sessions" going on. Our house
was always so full of life that many friends would come over to join in on the fun! It was called the "Do Drop
In". I am so excited that my Grandchildren have the love of music too. Taylor, Peyton and Mike are all learning
how to play the guitar. As for me, I have always loved music but didn't start playing a guitar until I was 25. My brother
John showed me a few things but I basically taught myself. I love Country music and the oldies but goodies. Over the years
I have had a few bands and enjoyed entertaining crowds at dances. Currently I have been getting together here in my home with
some musician friends and doing a "Jam Night" at our local American Legion Club room. There is nothing more
relaxing to me than getting together with my friends and making music. I simply Love it!!
